Here are some new photos of Grace from June and July 2011.
On the day of these photos, I decided to ask Grace to help me pick up her manure. This was the first time ever that we have done that. You can see from these photos that she accepts new things easily.
Grace and her brother, Gentry prefer to trail ride over arena work. They have been wonderful on the trail since they learned to ride. Grace is very sensible even when you take her out on the trail alone.
Gentry is a little more sensitive, but still enjoyable and responsive to "help" if he gets nervous. I took him out on a short trail ride solo, after a month off, and he did very well in helping me catch a loose horse. The entire herd was galloping next to us, but he settled after we did a one rein stop.
Grace and Gentry are still looking for good caretakers who will enjoy their beauty, personality, and who have time to give them. I think they would LOVE endurance riding or at least just some regular trail riding. Grace is a beginner at driving, but stands patiently and accepts the cart, etc. without concern.
